著名独立唱片店The Rough Trade近日公布了他们的“Top 100 Albums for 2005”，全部都是根据他们店内唱片销售情况以及职员投票选出。

这100张听过的还真没几张，那么接下来的任务是不是要忙里偷闲的找些听听？真是个艰巨的任务。

1 brakes give blood
A truly great album and one that got more number 1 staff votes than any other in recent years - 28 minutes of sheer country / punk delight!

2 black mountain black mountain
This also picked up a huge amount of staff votes and is probably the big surprise in the top ten - an album of remarkable variation.

3 stevens, sufjan illinoise
3 consecutive albums in our annual top 20 and amazingly still not a number one (Michigan was number 3 in 2004 and Seven Swans number 17 last year)...

There's so much going on here (ragga, hip-hop, bhangra, reggae, '80s electro, and even punk rock) that it ought not to work, but it does!

Amazingly high in the chart for an album that has only just come out..We guarantee you, you will hear more of him in 2006!

Since providing the music to the Sony Bravia TV advert (multi-coloured super balls in San Francisco), this album is set to be enormous and deservedly so.

A tribute to some of the great literary and musical figures of Americana and a brilliant album - Nigel's number 1 (and mine for what it's worth).

Acetate Zero - 《Crestfallen》

忘了从什么时候开始听Acetate Zero的，好象就在刚刚过去的哪个冬天，习惯坐在公车上有阳光的一边，塞上耳机独自享受。或许可能是自己运气好，在最近听完了Acetate Zero之前的一系列唱片后，Acetate Zero又带来了这张新专集《Crestfallen》。
目前可以得知的有关Acetate Zero 的信息不是很多,只知道这只五人编制的法国乐队组建于1996,乐队非常低调,甚至连乐队5位成员都分别用E、F、J、L、S来的掩饰了各自的本名。或许Acetate Zero本身就是小众音乐里的另类，从之前的情况看，Acetate Zero的作品历来都是限量发行，最少的有2002年发表的7寸唱片《Northland tragedy》，只发行了100张，最多的是他们2002年发行的再版专集《Softcore paradise》的CD版，也不过1000张而已。所以虽然目前没有任何明确的限量说法，但《Crestfallen》应该也逃不过限量的”厄运”,肯定依旧不会是主流市场的宠儿，而且对于独立乐迷来说，得到它似乎也并不是件容易的事。《Crestfallen》继续了Acetate Zero以往舒缓的ambient旋律和矜持的shoegaze情绪。开场曲“Frozen”在类似原始不过的鼓点上绽放出用吉他描绘的噪音之花，接着第二首“The sad beautiful quintessence”返回到迷人的寂静中，泛着微光的吉他响起，一个男声用英语和法语说着什么，同时一个温暖的女声也在慢慢吟唱。“the collide of your mouth”中，Acetate Zero展现了他们对shoegaze的探索，吉他轰响出壮丽的声墙。轻微的泛音点开了“december sounds like that”的序幕，在八音盒音色的旋律点缀下，婴儿的呓语实在是纯真的点睛之笔。或者如此赘述下去，实在有违Acetate Zero的音乐本意，因为Acetate Zero包容的东西宽泛到无法想象，每次听都会有不同的惊喜。与几张专辑相比， Acetate Zero并没有在音乐上有什么较大的改变和突破。或者千万别希望有什么改变,其实什么都没有发生,那正是美好所在.

　　英国著名乐队The Cure近日宣布，已经开始为明年的新专辑做准备工作。乐队将在明年一月进棚制作继上一张同名专辑《the Cure》之后的全新专辑，the Cure乐队的主脑Robert Smith在乐队的官方主页上表示乐队的新专辑将在夏天发表，目前一切都在准备当中，而他本人目前正在为一张现场DVD工作，并且“写了一些电影配乐”。

　　同时这张唱片也是乐队在经历了去年人员之后即将发表的首批作品。

coldplay - X&Y

实话说，coldplay（酷玩乐队）从来没有让我这么激动过，甚至在自己疯狂迷恋英式音乐的时期，coldplay对我来说也只是一只没太多精彩作品的乐队。而从听到这张2005年coldplay新专集《X&Y》的先行单曲《speed of sound》开始，我突然对这个乐队的新专集变的期待起来，而这首单曲也被我疯狂的推荐给各位好友听。现在听到整张唱片，果然没有让我失望，即使所有的作品仍旧弥漫着coldplay的味道，但和先前两张的作品相比，要更硬朗一些。

Radiohead早已跳离英式苦海，Oasis新作让人无法恭维，Blur也一直未有新作面世，甚至连再晚一些的travis都无法再续以往强盛的创作力，不再有精彩的新作出现，更别提suede的蹩脚后继乐队the tears那张难听的新专集了，倒是以keane为首的一票英式小清新团体不断涌现出来抢占主流市场。于是此时此刻Coldplay交出这么一分精彩的答卷，就更显的尤为重要了。而仔细听来，不免发觉coldplay比以前更加成熟了，而在成熟背后，Coldplay是否会在下一张唱片继续保持旺盛的创作力和才华令人担忧。或者此刻引用一位朋友在博客上写的话最贴切不过：“如果一个艺人的才华会随时间泯灭，那也只能说明所谓才华不过是小聪明。激情却真的会随时光变淡，然而这一切所体现的也正是一个人最本质的东西。”而话说回来，我真的觉得《X&Y》是一张充满了激情与才华的唱片，值得一听。

GoodMorninGloria《goodmorningloria》

这是张充满小女生想法的唱片，但就唱片概念来说，前七首曲目代表着一周7天，而第八首又正是第一首曲目的remix版本，代表着一周又一周的循环。可爱的曲目名称，算不上精彩的少女唱腔，我始终觉得这张唱片的另两位成员和女主唱loria的想法并不吻合，吉他部分编配的水分太大，录音质量也非常另人失望。尽管早前参与了那张的《独立女皇》合集，与众多独立女声的名字一同出现，但loria的名字始终没有被大多数独立乐迷记住。这张《goodmorningloria》是loria的首张专辑，不声不响的扔出来，反响平平。不过我仍旧愿意把她算作近来值得一听得独立女声，想来也是被那纯真的小女生情怀打动了。

my little airport的首张专辑《在動物園散步才是正經事》

电音流行曲+清新女声，独立乐迷在2004年提及率最高的香港地区男女组合之一my little airport，乍听首张专辑名字就已够清闲：在动物园散步才是正经事。这是一张用音乐记录琐碎生活的日记，其中有8首包含人名的作品，都是对生活中人与事的零散感悟所至，展现了一幅全无世故的单纯世界。仍在学校读书的两位成员对未来并没有奢望什么，相反倒是安于现在这样，在自娱自乐的维港唱片下推出自己的唱片，少量的关注度，已经足够。对于my little airport来说，继续自己的正常生活和音乐创作才是正经事。

The Marshmallow Kisses《 i wonder why my favorite boy leaves me an EP 》

一男一女的香港独立乐队The Marshmallow Kisses最早在“米国音乐”杂志的随刊CD中崭露头角，随后因为两位成员的一些琐事而把唱片耽误了将近两年，去年终于发表了这张叫好又叫座的ep《i wonder why my favorite boy leaves me an EP》，据说刚刚上市的时候曾经在香港出现断货的情况。The Marshmallow Kisses偏爱的是以Bossanova为主的indiepop路线,也许是曾在日本留学的缘故，可爱的女主唱Edine（郭家嘉）在唱腔上类似日系花草团体，编曲上却更偏向欧洲的清新团体。The Marshmallow Kisses无疑是香港最动听的indiepop清新双人团体。

自然卷《C'est La Vie》

来自台湾的自然卷以诙谐的歌词和跳脱的旋律最为迷人，甚至在香港观看club8演出的朋友都对同台的自然卷赞不绝口。女主唱娃娃的声音跟陈绮贞有些相似，但更顽皮一些，另一位男成员奇哥则一手包办了词曲、录音、缩混等工序，可谓完全独立的手工DIY。主打曲目“坐在巷口的那对男女”更是被某化妆品牌挑作广告音乐，（最近“Only In My Dream”也被选作某窗帘广告音乐）这对完全独立新人姿态，没有大公司支持的自然卷绝对是非常难得的肯定。唱片分别由台湾的独立厂牌风和日丽与香港独立厂牌89268发行不同版本CD，其中香港版的CD还特别收录了自然卷早期绝版ep中曲目。自然卷用自己的行动告诉你，什么才是生活。

陈绮贞《after 17》

陈绮贞去年与台湾的独立厂牌风和日丽联系非常紧密，连续3张ep都是自己完成音乐部分后交由风和日丽独立发行的。这张《after 17》正是陈绮贞去年年底的时候发表的ep，其中只收录了《after 17 》和《小小校歌》两首曲目。像之前发表的《旅行的意义》一样，陈老师依旧是那特有的纯真民谣气质，清淡幽美。陈绮贞的2004年会让好多人都羡慕的，ep的顺利发行，歌曲被买作广告音乐，还被签去做牛仔裤的代言，看来不在大公司下做大众歌手的她活得依旧快乐随意，而且更重要的是她依旧年轻的像17岁一样。据说新专辑就快要完成了，不知道陈老师会用什么样的方式感动我们，唯一可以确定的是，她会像当年在校园门口自己卖自己的唱片一样，自信并且可爱。

拜金小姐《拜金小姐2005》

拜金小姐这个玩票性质的乐队在2004年着实让很多人眼前一亮，甚至连之前对陈姗妮不屑一顾的乐评人都连连跳出来叫好。在这张2005年的新专辑里，我们可以听得出拜金小姐并不再有刚开始那样玩票味道，更谨慎的态度融入到音乐中，欧陆电子乐风与记忆中类似女声二重唱的感觉，我知道拜金小姐已经不仅仅是动听那么简单了。再看歌名和歌词，“玉楼春”、“点绛唇”、“似仙游”、这样的歌名岂是近年来港台词手们所能及的，被戏称“外星人”的可乐王果然与一般人不一样。从去年的新专辑《后来我们都哭了》到现在，陈姗妮也一直都没闲着，看来风头正劲的古怪才女之后还会有更大的惊喜留给我们猜测。至于对这张《拜金小姐2005》褒贬不一的评论完全可以暂且放到一边，专心聆听才是拜金正道。
